TESEO, Tessitura Serica di Olmeda, is a weaving mill from Como with a history, tradition and experience stretching over almost a century. PLAINS & JACQUARD
TESEO’s collection, encompassing over 250 plain and jacquard articles, represent and summarise the essence, the tradition and the experience accumulated in the Company’s history.
Classics such as Organza, Satin and silk Crepes, offered in various weights, are no doubt the protagonists of the collection since the beginnings. Every season the collection gets renewed with the introduction of new plain, jacquard, fil coupé, and yarn-dyed articles, with novelty yarns and new finishings.
PRINTS
Alongside its plain and jacquard fabrics, TESEO presents a Prints collection every season on its base fabrics. Managing the whole production chain, thanks to the investment in digital printing technology in the 1990s, allows TESEO to offer a service of complete customization: starting from the personalised design development, to the choice of the fabric, to the definition of the best printing technique and finishing process.
ECO-FABRICS
In 2013 TESEO started developing a line of 100% Organic Silks, and subsequently achieved the GOTS certification in February 2014.
Organic fabrics are the result of a long-term project which, involving its entire supply chain, has lead to the certification of the production cycle: from the production of the yarn, to the weaving, dyeing and finishing steps.
To date TESEO produces 15 qualities of 100% Organic Silk fabrics, including its best-sellers:
Organza of different qualities and weights;
Crepe Satin;
Crepe de Chine;
Georgette;
Habotai;
Creponne;
Voile Silk/Cotton.
In 2016 TESEO also introduced other environmentally sustainable fabrics:
articles with sustainableyarns such as recycled Linen or FSC Certified Viscose
winter articles with Organic Wool (GOTS certified wool yarn)
articles woven on Nylon warp of organic origin (Nylon yarn produced with plant-oil)

TESEO offers Foulards, Scarves, Pochettes, developed primarily on bases of Silk (Charmeuse, Crepe de Chine, Georgette, Twill, Habutai), Silk/Wool and Wool. As per its Plain jacquard and printed fabrics, also for the Accessories TESEO offers its clients a service of full customization including: the research and selection of the most suitable fabric, the design development, defining the product dimensions and hemming.
