In 1922 Guglielmo Miani starts his tailor activity in Milan, but the textile company is founded only in 1950, when the founder of Larus decides to not only use his in-depth knowledge of raw materials for his creations, but also to sell fabrics to other tailors. He then begins importing fabrics from Great Britain, and becomes the first to import to Italy the Vicuna, the world’s most precious fabric.

The fabrics range from cotton, wool, cashmere, to silk and linen, and are created using the most precious fibers in the world. The company’s textile collection mainly encompasses italian fabrics, combining tradition, innovation, functionaluty and performance. LARUSMIANI’s textile division relies on its extensive experience gained in over 60 years of activity to research and develop new techniques and blends, with the objective of achieving excellent quality and performance. Every season, LARUSMIANI comes out with almost three-hundred new articles between classical, tecnical and extremely precious fabrics.

Our textile research team keeps innovating and creating the finest blends, like the Sea Island or the Ice Cotton fabric. However, articles suitable for a more urban style are also present in the collection. The signature fabrics are pigmented with a new technology that creates, after the industrial washing of garments, a bicolor effect between straight and reverse, or even ready-made prints. Thanks to this innovative printing method, the garments will have multi-tone fantasies, designed to fullfill our customers’ desires.
