France’s Arkema opens acrylic acid purification unit in Carling

Arkema has inaugurated a new acrylic acid purification unit at Carling in France, boosting its competitiveness in Europe.
The nearly €150 million project improves purification energy efficiency by 25 per cent and reduces the site’s carbon intensity by 20 per cent.
The unit produces acrylic monomers for coatings, adhesives, water treatment and advanced materials, with France 2030 and EU backing.Read More
