During the week ending May 8, US upland cotton net sales rose 86 per cent week-on-week to 122,200 RB, driven by strong demand from Vietnam and Bangladesh.
However, shipments fell 17 per cent to 329,200 RB.
Pima cotton sales dropped 81 per cent to 5,000 RB, with exports down 34 per cent.
