Turkish lira falls to lowest real value in Apr since Oct 2024: CBRT

The Turkish lira weakened further in April, dropping to its lowest inflation-adjusted value since October last year, according to the central bank.
The CPI-based real effective exchange rate fell to 72.12 in April—down by 1.55 points from the previous month.
The country’s annual inflation rate, which has been declining over the past year, fell slightly to 37.9 per cent from 38.1 per cent in March.Read More
