Sumitomo Seika to exit powder resin business at Chiba by 2027

Sumitomo Seika Chemicals will end production and sales of polyethylene and polypropylene powder resins at its Chiba Works, Yachiyo City by March 2027 due to tough market conditions and rising costs.
Orders will stop in September 2025.
Sales will be discontinued in March 2027.
