A motorcyclist was killed on Thursday, Aug. 10 after he crashed his motorcycle into a concrete wall on the 22 Freeway, authorities said.
The 22-year-old man was riding his motorcycle about 11:25 a.m. eastbound on the 22 Freeway toward the northbound 57 Freeway transition road, between the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes at approximately 60 mph California Highway Patrol Officer Florentino Olivera said.
For an unknown reason, the motorcyclist veered across the No. 2 lane and crashed into the concrete wall, Olivera said.
The Los Angeles resident, whose name is being withheld, was transferred to UCI Medical Center in Orange with major injuries.
