The Company
The company ORFAMA, Organização Fabril de Malhas, S.A., was established in 1969, specialized in the production of knit garments, using the fully fashion technique, all in very fine gauges.
With a production capacity of about 300.000 pieces per year, divided over Menswear, Ladieswear and Childrenswear,
– On Bentley Cotton machines (21GG, 24GG, 27GG and 30GG),
– On Shima Seiki machines (5/7, 12, 14, 16 and 18 GG)
The Orfama product joins together the Fully Fashion Technique and Hand Linking with high quality yarns that allow us to achieve the quality demands of our toughest customers.
The Garment Dye technique, using a fully automatic colour kitchen, enables us with the flexibility that the market demands, because allows us to increase the offer of colours and the customer just needs to make a decision on colours closer to the delivery date.
In terms of Lead-Times Orfama is proud to achieve the following:
• Prototypes: 2/3 Weeks
• Salesman/Show samples: 3 / 4 weeks
• Production: 8 weeks (after size set approved) for quantities around 300 pieces per model.
