Jake Kyman’s ankle injury maybe was not as bad as it appeared to be.
Kyman scored 11 points as part of a balanced scoring effort for Santa Margarita as the Eagles defeated JSerra in a Trinity League home game Tuesday.
Kyman, among the top college prospects in Orange County basketball, rolled his left ankle Saturday in the Nike Extravaganza at Mater Dei in an Eagles win over Centennial of Corona. He indicated on Twitter that he would return to action Thursday, but he healed fast enough to play Tuesday and not miss a game.
