Inflation in Bangladesh fell to 9.05 per cent in May from 9.17 per cent in April, according to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics.
Non-food inflation also dropped to 9.42 per cent in the month from 9.61 per cent in the previous month.
Food inflation declined to 8.59 per cent in May from April’s 8.63 per cent.
Despite the decline, inflation has remained above 9 per cent for 27 consecutive months.Read More
