India’s cotton arrival at 12.38 mn bales in Oct-Dec 2024

India has received 123.80 lakh bales of cotton in the first 3 months of the 2024-25 season, according to the Cotton Association of India.
The total projected output is 302 lakh bales. State-wise, Gujarat and Maharashtra lead in cotton arrivals.
Overall production is expected to decrease by 7 per cent compared to the previous season, with government projections slightly lower at 299.26 lakh bales.Read More
