India-Australia trade worth $24 bn in FY24; CECA talks may get delayed

Since the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement was signed two years ago, bilateral merchandise trade has more than doubled, surging from $12.2 billion in Indian FY21 to $26 billion in FY23.
Total trade moderated to $24 billion in FY24, with India’s exports to Australia growing by 14 per cent.
