US’ Upland & Pima cotton exports rise this week: USDA

US upland cotton net sales reached 108,400 RB for the 2024–25 season, up 4 per cent from the prior week but down 21 per cent from the four-week average.
Major buyers included Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.
Pima sales rose to 13,200 RB. Exports totalled 366,000 RB, led by Vietnam and Turkiye.
Pima shipments dropped 73 per cent to 3,900 RB, primarily to India, Egypt, and Peru.Read More
