EU, Philippines reach substantial agreement on free trade deal

The EU and the Philippines reached substantial agreement on an FTA covering more than 97 per cent of bilateral trade and liberalising over 94 per cent of tariff lines.
The pact would improve market access, diversify supply chains and strengthen digital trade, procurement and sustainability rules.
