Evonik plans closure of two German chemical sites by 2027

Evonik plans to close smaller sites in Hamburg and Bitterfeld by mid-2027 while keeping the businesses mainly at larger German locations.
The move affects around 90 employees across cosmetics, personal care and chlorosilane operations.
