By continuously sourcing the most eye-catching fancy yarns our in-house design team pushes the boundaries of fabric design to excite and inspire our demanding, yet discerning customers with colourful and striking statement looks.
But our skill is not only in choosing the right yarns, our experienced designers have the creative vision to explore structure, as well as pattern, to create great vibrancy and texture. Combine that with a wide knowledge finishing techniques and you have a business that creates you the most highly individual tweeds available for today’s fine womenswear.
Seasonal collections
Every year we create two seasonal collections which we display at major fabric shows from Paris to Tokyo and across the world. In addition, our designers and agents visit as many clients as possible to provide the kind of personal service they appreciate.
Although very much inspired by our fabulous natural surroundings, we also take on the influences of the key trends and colours of the moment. With a regular look back at our extensive archive, we can create new looks to inspire you.
Our current Autumn/Winter Collection recognises the softness of Merino Lambswool in a range of lightly decorated tweeds in lofty coating and jacketing weights. Colourful boucle weft-effects contrast with thread, block weaves in classic black and whites as well as camel combinations.
Our retro, slubby allovers provide autumnal colour mixes, suitable for day wear, whilst a hint of sparkle and a splash of glitz creates luxury show fabrics for the evening.
For our new Spring/Summer Collection we have re-introduced silk into our range.
Chunky star designs and giant herringbones contrast with lightweight fancy plains and hopsack grounds. Texture is provided by cellular ‘spot’ weaves and thick and thin slub yarns with accents in coloured knops and tufted fancy yarns.
Our colours combine ecru and soft pastels, optic white with acid brights, along with a range of classics – red, navy and camel, as well as dependable black and white.
Finally, and especially for this season, we are showcasing a new range of pastel metallics and funky sequin fabrics.
