Menderes Textile A.S. was established in 1983. At that point, it was operating with 500 employees under 60.000 square meters closed area on 100.000 square meters land and having only spinning-weaving and dyeing units. In that period, it had a very old technology in the spinning plant, old technology looms with shuttles in the weaving plant and again very old machinery in dyeing plant.
Menderes Textile A.S. has shown a considerable growth and development since its foundations were laid in 1983. It started to renew its old technology machinery in 1987. It launched a big investment in the new technology while increasing its capacity in 1990. In 1995, these growth and renewal efforts was taken further.
Today (2009), with its manufacturing facilities in Denizli/Turkey employing 3500 people and operating under 225.000 square meters closed area on 450.000 square meters land, it is a fully integrated textile company comprising Spinning, Knitting, Weaving, Designing&Engraving, Printing&Dyeing and Confection Units. It has the latest technology with a production capacity of 28.000.000 bed sets per year.
Menderes Textile, concerned with home textile manufacturing, has a reputation for adding quality and sense of elegance in home textile. It is viewed as a role model in its sector for its achievements in monitoring and applying innovations in the world of home textile, thereby entirely changing the way home textile is perceived. It prides itself on the quality of its product, also holding ISO 9001 accreditation.
